We Have to Stop The Migration Flow”

Secretary General of the Austrian Freedom Party, Harald Vilimsky suggests border controls within the Schengen area and reception centers for migrants outside Europe.

20150720_05In the European Parliament the French National Front (FN), the Austrian Freedom Party (FPÖ), the Dutch Freedom Party (PVV), the Italian Northern League (Lega Nord) and the Flemish Interest (Vlaams Belang) have been working together for a long time and one month ago, they formed their own group – Europe of Nations and Freedom (ENF) – with the help of ex-UKIP MEP Janice Atkinson and two MEP’s of the Polish Congress of the New Right (KNP).

Their history of cooperation made the start quite smooth, Vice-Chair Harald Vilimsky told Magyar Hírlap. According to the Secretary General of FPÖ ”the decision to build a group with European patriotic parties, which want to get back some competences to their national parliaments, which still believe in a Europe of diversity and therefore try to fight the centralistic generalized European construct is a very comprehensible one for every European patriotic party”. ENF is continuing negotiations with parties and MEP’s, they ”try not to exclude other parties like some other groups”. ”But we also have a common interest to work with patriotic parties, who have a democratic ideological spectrum that we can accept and we can work with. As already said in the past, there are objections within our group against NPD, Golden Dawn and Jobbik”, he added. (…)

Regarding immigration ”the best thing Europe could do now is to re-establish border controls between the EU-member states and to build reception centers in those countries where the migrants and asylum-seekers are coming from”, said Vilimsky, adding that ”closer cooperation with those states would be very important”.
